We’re heading into Day Three of Cheltenham and hopes are high of building on the last two days of victories for Carlow and Kilkenny based trainers, owners and jockies.
But there’s sadness too within the local community on the death of Danny O’Neill who passed peacefully yesterday.
Funeral details have been announced with Reposal at his home today (Thursday, 14th March) from 12noon concluding with Prayers at 8pm.
Mass will take place at 2pm tomorrow (Friday, 15th March) at the Church of the Holy Cross in Myshall after which Danny will be laid to rest in Lismaconly Cemetery.
He’s forever linked to one famous horse and speaking on the KCLR documentary Mad About Danoli, Danny outlined where he believed he got his own bone-setting talents.
