This year’s St Patrick’s Parade in Carlow will be float-full affair once again

This year’s St Patrick’s Day Parade in Carlow will be a float-full affair afterall!

About 40 people attended a public meeting last night to organise this year’s event.

Last year, organisers were told at almost the last minute that due to health and safety concerns no floats would be permitted.

However, with extra safety procedures and stewarding this year, floats will be included once again.

A second public meeting will take place on the 13th of February.
