You’ll pay more to rent in Carlow than Kilkenny.
The latest Daft.ie report shows prices have risen across all categories in the past year in both counties with drops only noted in Kilkenny for two and four-bed properties with Carlow seeing high spikes for both.
The average cost of a two-bedroom apartment across the country was €2,080 in the third quarter of the year, a jump of 4.3 per cent nationally in twelve months – Kilkenny was close to that at 3.4% to €1,326 but in Carlow the increase was double at 8.3% to €1,411.
