Yulefest Kilkenny out in force as Santa arrives and city lights go on

Kilkenny’s festive offering’s stepping up as Yulefest takes hold.

There’s so much to enjoy for the next few weeks with some of the highlights on show today.

Santa lands by boat to Canal Square before hopping on a bike to lead a cycle through city streets (approx 2:30pm).

While The Parade will be a hive of activity as the Christmas markets, carousel and live music offerings combine, culminating in the official switch-on of the lights led by singing sensation Robert Grace with his ‘Home’ costars, his father Bob & son Lincoln.
