Carlow politicians clash over invite to a housing meeting

Two Carlow politicians have clashed over the Housing Minister visit this week.

A meeting with Eoghan Murphy took place but Senator Jennifer Murnane O’Connor was not invited to it, despite her role as Housing spokesperson for Fianna Fáil in the Seanad.

Fine Gael Deputy Pat Deering admitted he invited the Minister to come to Carlow but says it was not up to him to invite the Senator to meet with them.

This morning on KCLR Live the Dáil Deputy and Senator had words about it.
