The developer attempting to build a new bridge across the River Nore in Kilkenny says he is considering applying for an injunction to stop protesters disturbing the work there.
John Craddock has the contract for the new Central Access scheme bridge and says he has been left ‘dumbfounded’ by some campaigners against the project who he says have verbally abused his workers.
Protestors have been there on a constant basis in recent weeks and in recent days pitched a tent on a river raft there.
Mr Craddock says little or no work has been carried out since the builders moved onto the site.
