More than 1,800 Kilkenny and Carlow Leaving Cert students picking up their results today

It’s D-Day for more than 1,800 Leaving Cert students across Carlow and Kilkenny.

The results are available for collection at schools before coming online from midday.

In Kilkenny, 1,016 students sat their exams in June, while in Carlow there are 854.

The CAO first round offers will be available from Monday.

Gardaí and the Road Safety Authority are urging students celebrating tonight to do so safely.
