24 marathons, 24 days challenge hits Carlow and Kilkenny today

A charity challenge to raise money for Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Ireland is hitting Carlow and Kilkenny today.
Shane Finn is attempting to complete 24 marathons in 24 days – having set off from Donegal Town on the 22nd of June.
Today he’s beginning from Applegreen on the Killeshin Road in Carlow from 9.30am, before heading through Castlecomer and finishing on the Dublin Road in Kilkenny at about 2.30pm.
Shane told KCLR new his aim is to raise €100,000.
