26 hours on a trolley in St Lukes hospital

A young woman has made a formal complaint to the HSE after being left on a trolley for 26 hours in St Lukes hospital last week.

Natasha told KCLR Live this morning she had nothing to eat or drink in that time as she was waiting for an ultrasound which was delayed because the nurse was so busy she forgot to book it.

She had nothing but praise for the staff who she says went above and beyond to help her but were rushed off their feet.

Natasha says she hopes that others forced to wait on corridors will make their feelings known too.
