Covid-19 latest: 3 new Irish deaths & 2 new local cases

Two new local cases of Covid-19 have been announced among eight nationwide, with three more deaths reported in Ireland.

The two-county total is still 519 positive test results locally so far – Kilkenny up two to 350 and Carlow steady on 171.

The overall death toll from the virus is now 1,710 while there’s a total of 25,341 confirmed cases for the whole country.
