The organisation claims that 348 jobs came up in Kilkenny, bringing the total number of jobs created by Enterprise Ireland in the county to 4, 167.

In Carlow the figure was 373 new jobs with the total number of positions created in the county to 2,973.

Digital Technology, Construction and Fintech were the key performing sectors.

A total of 19,244 new jobs both full and part-time were created last year.
