The 7th annual Kilkenny Santa Charity run takes place this morning

Don’t be alarmed if you see lots of Santy’s running around Kilkenny city this morning.

The 7th annual Kilkenny Santa Charity run takes place at 11 o’clock.

There’s two options for runners to choose from, with a 2km family run and a 5km timed run.

All funds raised from the run today will go to the local society of saint vincent de Paul.

Roisin Hickey from the organising committee told KCLR that there’s even a quirky prize for the four-legged Santy’s, so you can bring your dog along and dress them up too.
