Bobby Aylward says the Government have failed to provide adequate funding for the road network

Bobby Aylward has criticised the government for failing to provide adequate funding to maintain the road network.

The local Fianna Fail TD says previous cuts to the local improvement scheme were not being reversed in the recent budget.

Deputy Aylward says this scheme is vital to help maintain the road network.

Speaking to KCLR news, Bobby says he welcomes the 10% increase in funding announced in the budget, but he says it’s not enough.
