Kilkenny Taxi Driver says Savour and Rockfall festivals bring a loss for their business

One local taxi driver is reporting a 50% loss in takings from the festival-packed weekend.

It comes as a number of the existing taxi ranks in the city aren’t accessible due to other activities.

KCLR news understands that additional ranks have been put in place for the duration of the weekend.

However, one local driver has said that isn’t enough to make up for the losses they’re seeing as a result.
