The four day Kilkenomics festival continues in Kilkenny today.
The festival, which brings economics and comedy together, is now in its 7th year.
Europe’s first economics festival which has been coined as “Davos with jokes” has a very full programme of events which begin at lunchtime until well into the night.
Some of the topics up for discussion include Brexit and how England’s difficulty could be Ireland’s opportunity. Colm MacCarthy and Des Bishop are among those speaking about to fix the housing crisis.
This evening they’ll be looking at the how an apple a day keeps the tax man away with Irish based multinationals versus the EU.
Later tonight, They’ll consider if we are witnessing the beginning of a new civil war as Donald Trump is the new US president elect.
