You’ll soon be able to have your say on a proposed by-pass route for Tullow.

The local area plan is up for review and this proposal for a bypass from the Carlow Road to the Rathoe Road has been on the cards for some time.

Up to now there’s only been one route up for consideration, but a second one has now been put together by Councillor William Paton.

Both will soon be available for viewing as part of a period of public consultation on the council’s website.

Speaking to KCLR News, Councillor Paton says it’s important people are given options.
