Works on a road realignment scheme worth €8.5 million will start in Kilkenny early next year.
The contract for the N76 Callan Road Realignment Scheme was recently awarded to SIAC Construction Limited.

It’ll see works taking place on over four kilometres from the Callan Road Roundabout on the Ring Road to the Brownstown Junction.
Footpaths will be constructed, along with cycle tracks and public lighting as far as Tennypark Cross.
The works could take up to 18 months to complete.
