Tesco staff in Carlow will take to picket line next week

Mandate says staff at Tesco in Carlow town and four other stores will join in strike action early next week.

Tesco is calling on the trade union to abandon the action though after staff at another eight stores were balloted last night with just one of those eight voting to down tools.

Pickets have been placed on 16 stores already with five more including Carlow set to join them next week.
