More than 250 people turn up to have their say on new park for Ferrybank

More than 250 people turned up to have their say on a new park site in Ferrybank on Saturday.

Organised by Kilkenny Recreation & sports partnership, Park Life called on locals to come out to the new 2.5 acre site which is set to be developed near their homes and have their say on the layout and design of it.

Catriona Corr of the KRSP told KCLR News they were thrilled with how many people came out to the on-site workshop.

And she says there’s plenty of scope there for all of the ideas local people came up with.
