Kilkenny Gardaí hunting for a number of people who escaped through fields off M9

Gardaí are on the hunt for two or three people who have made an escape through fields off the M9 motorway in Kilkenny this evening.

These people abandoned a car shortly after 4 o’clock just on the Carlow side of Junction 7 Paulstown in the Northbound lane.

Kilkenny Gardaí have told KCLR that they believe they may have been involved in a crime and are anxious to find them.

One of them – a man – has been arrested and the car is also in custody.

However, it’s believed two or three others are still on the run and were seen heading in the Kellymount or Shankill areas around Paulstown.
