Documentary about life-saving efforts of Kilkenny taxi drivers to be premiered in Galway

A documentary showing the life-saving efforts of a group of Kilkenny taxi drivers is to have its world premiere at the Galway Film Fleadh.

‘Throwline’, a production from Ishka films had a local screening in the city back in May.

It tells the story of Taxi Watch, established by Derek Devoy and a group of drivers who came together to form a suicide prevention group to patrol the city at night and offer help to those in distress.

Its premiere will take place this Sunday, July 16th.
