“Things are steadily getting worse” at the former camphill community in Ballytobin.

That’s according to the parent of one of its residents, John Hurley, who says talk that a new provider might be in place soon is just wishful thinking at this stage.

In a letter from the HSE, seen by KCLR News, they say the community co-worker model at Ballytobin will cease by the 31st of this month when all the staff will have been removed by Camphill.

However, John says this will never have happened by that date.
