“The real rivalry is in your own party”
The words of Fianna Fail TD Bobby Aylward, who says they’re hopeful of getting three seats in the Carlow/Kilkenny constituency in the next general election.

Deputy Aylward says it will be a big ask to get the three seats, but he says they will fight for them.
It comes after Councillor Joe Malone revealed exclusively on KCLR that he is considering running as an Independent candidate and was highly critical of party headquarters for their actions in the Patrick McKee saga.
Speaking to Edward Hayden on ‘the Saturday Show’ earlier, Bobby says Patrick McKee will likely return to the party, but he’s hopeful Joe Malone won’t leave as a result.
