Cleaning Blitz planned for Carlow town this afternoon

Team up and clean up!

That’s the message going out to all Carlow Town residents today as a cleaning blitz has been organised for between 2 and 7 o’clock.

Anyone who has an hour or two to spare is being encouraged to come along to the Potato Market to sign up and lend a hand.

Speaking to KCLR News, Janette O’Brien says you can get involved at any stage and for any length of time during the afternoon.

She says whether you have 20 minutes, or an hour to spare, they would be delighted to see as many people as possible out and about today.
