Kilkenny hurling legend Eddie Keher to be honoured with lifetime achievement award in Dublin this afternoon

One of Kilkenny’s hurling legends is to be honoured with a lifetime achievement award in Dublin this afternoon.

Eddie Keher, along with the Kilkenny teams of 1967 and 2007, will be recognised at the annual GPA Former Players Renunion lunch.

Eddie and the ’67 team are also part of a new four-part KCLR documentary airing on Saturday mornings.

Tommy Walsh was on the 2007 team that’s also being honoured today and as part of the documentary he says the ’67 team were hugely influential.
