ESB networks is working on restoring power to the remaining homes in Carlow and Kilkenny still without it since last Mondays storm.
A relatively small number have yet to get their electricity back at this stage.

They’ve identified small pockets around the 2 counties to work on today in Myshall, Garyhill and Bilboa areas in Co. Carlow and Tinnahinch, Graiguenamanagh and Tullaroan in Co. Kilkenny.
But Safety Manager Arthur Byrne told KCLR news that anyone else outside of those areas should get in touch with them on 1850 372 999 if they still have no power.
He said they are eager to get as many people as possible back on the grid by nightfall.
