Kilkenny businessman, Bobby Kerr, stepping back from Insomnia chain

Kilkenny businessman Bobby Kerr is stepping back from the Insomnia coffee chain after leading the business for over 20 years.

Mr Kerr has agreed to sell up to his business partners and is due to step away from the chain in the coming weeks.

The 57-year-old will now focus on his broadcasting career instead.

Founded in 1997, Insomnia boasts 150 stores across Ireland and the UK including one that at Kilkenny’s Market Cross Shopping Centre.
