Investment of €160million and more than 80 full-time jobs for Glanbia’s Belview plant

An investment of €160 million has been announced by Enterprise Ireland for Glanbia’s South Kilkenny plant.

The company says this will help to create 83 full-time jobs when it opens in 2020 and 400 support jobs during the two-year construction period.

It comes as Glanbia’s Wexford Cheese Plant reopens today following major capital investment to the tune of about €35 million.

The facility in Belview first opened in 2015 and this investment will lead to the installation of a new third dryer and other processing equipment to produce infant formula products designed for global export markets.
