Go-ahead given for new playground for Kilkenny village

The green light has been given for a new public playground for a local village.

Tullaroan Development Association submitted the planning application to Kilkenny County Council earlier this year and it’s now been granted.

It’s to be built at the sports grounds there and those involved say it could cost a total of anywhere in the region of €60,000.

Speaking to KCLR News, Secretary Justin McGree says they’re delighted with the planning department’s decision.
