A weather warning has been issued for rain for Carlow and Kilkenny.
The status yellow warning kicks in from 2 o’clock tomorrow afternoon and is valid until the same time on Friday.

Between 30 to 50 millimetres of rain is expected to fall with flooding expected in many areas.
The warning also covers Wexford, Waterford, Cork, Kerry and Limerick.
Carlow Weather’s Alan O’Reilly says flooding is likely.
