Labour leader due in Kilkenny to officially select candidate for Castlecomer local electoral area

The Labour Party will officially select its candidate for the Castlecomer local electoral area.

SIPTU official Denis Hynes from Goresbridge is the only name on the ticket to take the seat which is being vacated by Maurice Shortall after 15 years of service.

Party leader Brendan Howlin will be at Castlecomer Community Hall for the meeting which gets underway at 8pm.
