The new Mayor of Carlow will be decided this afternoon.
The AGM for the Carlow town Municipal District gets underway from 4 o’clock.

It’s expected that Fianna Fáil’s Andrea Dalton will take over the position from her party colleague, Ken Murnane.
Kilkenny’s mayor was decided on Friday with Fine Gael’s Martin Brett donning the chain there.
