43 residents in a County Kilkenny nursing home have to find alternative accommodation according to the Health Service Executive.
The HSE has been managing the private facility, formerly Strathmore Lodge, in Callan since Aperee‘s licence was cancelled by the District Court on the 2nd of November, 2023.
In a statement today the HSE says its focus continues to be the safety and welfare of the residents who live there and they add that they can no longer safely provide care to them
Representatives have today met with residents, families and those employed there to update them on the situation with staff on site from today to provide further support and information to residents and their families over the next few weeks.
