A car broken down is causing major probelms in Kilkenny City this evening

A car that has broken down on Rose Inn street is causing major traffic disruption in the city this evening

The car which cannot be moved due to an electrical probelm is awaiting a recovery truck to remove it off the road

However several roads around the area are backedup and traffic delays are expected for the next half hour or so

Advice from Kilkenny County Council and Gardaí is to avoid the area at all costs
