People in Waterford and Carlow are being reminded to ‘Ask for Angela’ if they feel unsafe on a night out.
First rolled out in the city seven years ago, the campaign relaunched this morning in partnership with South East Technological University.
SETU’s Sexual Violence Prevention and Response Manager is Roisin Shanahan.
She says this project will help their goal of zero tolerance to sexual violence in the university: It’s really important students feel safe and that there’s zero tolerance for gender based violence. We hope to raise awareness, train staff and tackle violence.
