Local Cllr welcomes €7.099 million for North Kilkenny road improvements, but calls for more funding to address storm damage

A local cllr has welcomed €7.099 million for road improvements in North Kilkenny, which will fund essential restoration and maintenance, including projects on Old Road in Moneenroe and Church Ave in Castlecomer.

However, Cllr Pat Fitzpatrick highlighted that more funding is needed to repair storm damage to the region’s extensive road network.
