People in Kilkenny and Carlow are being urged to avail of an initiative, launched this week with the support of the local library services, to help them grow their own food from seed to plant at home.
GIY’s LEAF Programme is bringing 9,000 free seed packs to public libraries across Kilkenny and Carlow to inspire people to grow their own food and take climate action.
LEAF week kicked off on March 24th and is running all week with free seeds, growing resources, and events available at participating libraries.
