Historical records in Kilkenny to go digital

Over 800 years of history will be made available to the public from today as the Tholsel Charters go digital.

Kilkenny is the only city outside of Dublin with a vast amount of records in storage and funding from the Heritage Council has helped with the project which will be officially launched later today.
