Kilkenny woman in plea for grandson with rare genetic condition

A call’s been made for a specially adapted car to help transport a local child with additional needs.

The five-year-old is the only child in Ireland, and one of just six in the world, with the rare OTUD5 gene related x-linked condition with multiple congenital anomalies with neurodevelopment syndrome, global development delay with seizures and adernal insufficiency.

His Grandmother Mary from Loughboy in Kilkenny city has been speaking about it on The KCLR Daily, while the family launched a GoFundMe page (details here).
