Carlow Kilkenny Sinn Féin TD calls a ‘disgrace’ the number of patients on the Children Disability Network Team waiting list

The local Sinn Féin TD has called a ‘disgrace’ the number of patients on the Children Disability Network Team (CDNT) waiting lists.

Natasha Newsome Drennan claims over 7,000 are currently waiting to be seen in the HSE Dublin South East region – 2,000 of those not even getting their initial assessment.

She says the Government has failed and have left parents feeling completely abandoned and told KCLR News that priority must be given to recruit more nurses and therapists;
