Emergency services are dealing with a crash on the M9 motorway.

Traffic is reduced to one lane southbound on the M9 following a crash.

The single vehicle incident occurred around 7.30pm this evening.

Fire crews, paramedics and gardaí are currently at the scene.

The road will be restricted to traffic for a number of hours.

Gardaí are advising motorists to approach with extreme caution.
