Carlow councillor Adrienne Wallace hits out at use of Local Property Tax to fund trips abroad

A Carlow councillor has criticised the use of Local Property Tax to fund trips abroad.

There was a difference of opinion at yesterday’s budget meeting when Adrienne Wallace told colleagues that the decision to put €10,000 of the money aside was ‘nonsensical’.

It comes as the People Before Profit representative says she’s had many people approach her in the streets not happy about the increase to the Local Property Tax.
