County Kilkenny village in darkness for almost two weeks

A local village has been in darkness for almost two weeks.

The street lights of Coon in north Kilkenny have been without power since the 9th of October.

Cllr Pat Fitzpatrick says though a rural spot, its centre draws people together and being without the lighting is unacceptable;
