Lonely Planet’s Best Places to Visit in 2026 include Barbados, Sardina and … Tipperary

Lonely Planet has listed its 25 Best Places in the World to visit for 2026.

Barbados and Mexico City are among the suggestions (read more here) but so too is Ireland’s ‘Premier County’ Tipperary.

The travel magazine recommends a trip to the Glen of Aherlow, dinner at Mikey Ryan’s in Cashel or Bishop’s Buttery at Cashel Palace, with Bulmers/Magners, Cashel Blue Cheese and more and they note that ‘Nature is on an epic scale’ in the county.
