The death has been announced of a popular perforrmer and radio presenter.
Eamonn McRory was based for many years in Carlow but was known across the country for his part in ‘Twos Company’, leading entertainers in the seventies and eighties, before moving into radio in Kilkenny where he fronted an afternoon music and chat show into the nineties.
But he never left the performing behind and even teamed up with camogie star Tracy Millea for a GAA county hit ‘Black and Amber Rock’.
Tracy had this to say when contacted by KCLR News;
A number of years ago Eamonn and wife Nuala moved to Australia, though they popped home for visits, swinging by KCLR for catch-up chats and a trip down memory lane.
