A decision on a major development in Kilkenny city is expected to be revealed later.
Tesco’s plans to build a new supermarket and 80 new homes on the former mart site at New Road had been given the green light by Kilkenny County Council in June with 28 conditions.

But that was then appealed in July by a third party to An Coimisiún Pleanála with an outcome due today.
