Carlow is taking a major step today toward making the county a better place to live for people aged over 65 in Carlow.
That’s according to figures discussed today at the new Age Friendly Strategic Plan launch those aged over 65 grew more than the national average and is growing which show the latest figures at 9,304.
The new Strategic Plan focuses on areas like improving local bus services, making homes safer, and helping people get online.
Irish actor, Patrick Bergin, was the special guest at the launch at VISUAL this afternoon.
