Gardaí Appeal for Witnesses After Linked Burglaries in Kells

Gardaí are appealing for information after two burglaries in the Kells area of Kilkenny.

The incidents happened overnight between March 10th and 11th, sometime between 11.30pm and 4am.

Crime Prevention Officer with Kilkenny Gardaí, Eddie Brennan, says the thefts appear to be linked.

“A vacant property was targeted in the Kells area, we had a generator stolen, we have no further description.” said Garda Brennan.

“You’re talking there upwards of €700 worth of a generator, the following day, we had a further burglary in that area, what we had was a leaf blower taken, a Husqvarna leaf blower was taken, so we’re happy that both these incidents are connected.” he added.
