Carlow Town welcomes a massive influx of visitors this week as the International Pan Celtic Festival gets underway.
The event, which runs until Saturday 11th hosts a celebration of culture, music, and language from the six Celtic nations.
Carlow begins its two year stint as the festivals host with an official opening concert at the George Bernard Shaw Theatre tonight from 7.30 attended by Uachtarán Catherine Connolly.
One of the highlights this year is “Streetfest” on Tullow Street featuring a “Celtic Circus” theme.
