Gardaí appeal for information following burglary at a south Kilkenny home

Gardaí are appealing for information following a burglary at a home in South Kilkenny.

The incident happened in the Piltown area between 8pm on May 13th and 3pm on May 15th, 2026.

Entry was gained through the rear door of the property and it’s believed nothing was taken.

Garda Mark Nolan told KCLR News “Gardaí in Mooncoin are appealing for any witnesses, CCTV and dashcam again if it can be made available to them and they can be contacted on 051 895122, again vehicles unfamiliar to locals or anybody not known to locals seen on foot in the area of particular interest”.
